All SISTER garments are designed and produced in Melbourne, the studio is located in Brunswick, where they design, pattern make, sample and sometimes produce small runs. They are a small but perfectly formed team working full time between the studio and store.
They stay on top of quality and production with weekly visits to their factory, which allows them to work closely with their makers. Manufacturing locally is important to them, because they want to be hands on throughout the process. They strive to support local business and connect with the community.
Their garments don't have to travel far, so they do their bit to reduce carbon emissions by keeping production local. They ensure finished garments are kept plastic packaging free, and use every last scrap of material to create something awesome.
